Oregon’s economic future is tied to people, productivity and innovation

Oregon employers have increased their attention to attracting, retaining and effectively managing their workforce to begin turning the tide against an economic recession that struck in full force in late 2008, spread to global proportions and reached dangerously unprecedented lows through much of last year.

In big and small towns across Oregon, businesses with varying workforce sizes say that human resources issues really do matter today and will count even more in the future.
