ALCHEMY SYSTEMS AWARDED U.S. PATENT FOR
INTERACTIVE TRAINING SYSTEM
Audience Response System Enables Simultaneous Multi-Group Training
Austin, Texas—Alchemy Systems, LP, the global leader in food and workplace safety training, has announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the company a patent for its “Multimedia Training System and Apparatus.” Alchemy filed the patent application in 2010.
The patent specifically covers the Audience Response System for Alchemy’s interactive and hand-held training program SISTEM® (Standard Industry Skills Training and Education Media). The platform is unique because the training and the testing can occur simultaneously in different locations at any time on the same frequency—a capability lacking with other training disciplines. SISTEM enables instructors to determine the level of worker comprehension instantaneously through hand-held remote controls and respond accordingly at any time during the training.
“The award of our patent confirms SISTEM’S uniqueness, innovation and value in enhancing food safety in the workplace,” said Jeff Eastman, CEO at Alchemy. “It is also a testament to our interactive capabilities that convey the knowledge and verify worker comprehension essential for compliance with federal and state regulations.
