NWFPA member National Foods Corp. recently partnered with Hirai Farms to donate 15 tons of sweet corn to food distribution center Second Harvest.

“This is part of Hirai Farms & Annie’s Fun commitment to work with various companies over the past year to donate 1 million pounds of vegetables to help feed 1 million people”, stated Blaine Hirai of Hirai Farms.

Each week, Second Harvest, with its network of 275 food banks in Eastern Washington and North Idaho, helps feed 48,000 people living in poverty.
