Idaho

Avista Utilities (Sandpoint, Moscow, Lewiston, Coeur d’Alene) (www.avistautilities.com) offers technical assistance, design review and cash incentives for industrial projects ranging from demand controlled ventilation systems to commercial lighting improvements to food service equipment purchases. Idaho Power (Boise, Caldwell, Meridian, Nampa, Pocatello, Mountain Home, Jerome, Twin Falls, Burley, Rupert, Blackfoot) (www.idahopower.com). Idaho Power offers a wide range of energy efficiency services and incentives to its business customers: incentives of up to $100,000 for energy-saving retrofits within existing commercial and industrial buildings, custom programs for large or complex projects, and incentives of up to $100,000 per project to offset part of additional capital expenses for more efficient lighting designs, cooling systems, controls and building shell in new commercial industrial construction projects. Rocky Mountain Power (Rexburg, Idaho Falls) (www.rockymountainpower.net). For business customers in Idaho, Rocky Mountain Power offers cash incentives for efficient new construction and major renovation projects, cash for efficient lighting and HVAC, expert technical services and other incentives, as well as load curtailment incentives to reduce energy use during peak load periods.

Oregon

Central Electric Cooperative(Sisters, Bend, Redmond, Madras, Powell Butte, Terrebonne, Tumalo) (www.centralelectriccoop.com) offers a commercial/industrial lighting program that pays up to 70 percent of the installed cost of high-efficiency lighting systems.

Columbia PUD (www.crpud.net) offers free energy efficiency audits, a 70 percent cash incentive for high-efficiency lighting retrofits, cash rebates up to 50 percent of installed cost for weatherization retrofits for small (<5,000 square-foot) office or retail facilities, and heat pump rebates up to $1,300 for small office or retail facilities. Douglas Electric Cooperative (www.douglaselectric.com) offers commercial lighting upgrade incentives.

Eugene Water & Electric Board (www.eweb.org). For businesses, EWEB offers a full suite of energy efficiency incentives, including rebates for retrofit and new construction lighting, new and reconditioned electric motors, retrofit and new construction HVAC system efficiency upgrades, commercial refrigeration system upgrades and miscellaneous equipment, including high-efficiency windows and office equipment. For commercial and industrial customers, McMinnville Water & Light offers energy audit services, low-interest loans for energy efficiency projects, rebates for “green” electric motors and efficient lighting retrofit incentives. PacifiCorp (www.pacificorp.com) or Pacific Power (www.pacificpower.net) service territory in Oregon covers 23 operating areas including Albany, Bend/Redmond, Astoria, Coos Bay/Coquille, Corvallis, Cottage Grove/Junction City, Dallas/Independence, Enterprise, Grants Pass, Hermiston, Hood River, Klamath Falls, Lakeview, Lebanon, Lincoln City, Madras, Medford, Milton-Freewater, Pendleton, Portland, Prineville, Roseburg/Myrtlecreek, and Stayton. Tillamook PUD (www.tpud.org) offers industrial customers a free lighting audit and rebates for energy-efficient lighting fixture retrofits.

Umatilla Electric Cooperative (www.ueinet.com) offers industrial customers free informal energy audits and custom project incentives for lighting, HVAC, hot water, refrigeration, compressed air and heat recovery systems, and will be offering further industrial incentives by the end of the year.

Washington

Chelan County PUD’s Resource$mart program has helped many industrial and commercial customers install energy-efficiency improvements including fast-acting doors for fruit warehouses, more efficient industrial refrigeration fans, heating and cooling system improvements and better lighting. Clallum PUD (www.clallumpud.net) offers incentives for energy efficient lighting upgrades to commercial/industrial facilities.

Cowlitz PUD (www.cowlitzpud.org) offers deemed incentive rebates for the purchase of NEMA Premium Efficiency motors, as well as funding for custom energy efficiency improvement projects on industrial processes through its Energy Savings Plan Industrial Conservation Effort (SPICE) program.

Ferry PUD (www.fcpud.com) offers commercial lighting retrofit incentives.

Franklin PUD (www.franklinpud.com) offers commercial lighting retrofit incentives of $3 to $200 per fixture.

Grays Harbor PUD (www.ghpud.org) offers its non-residential customers rebates of up to 70 percent of project cost for lighting, HVAC and motor efficiency upgrades and other projects.

Lewis PUD (www.lcpud.org) offers industrial energy audit assistance, commercial and industrial lighting rebates, rebates for premium efficiency motors, energy-efficient compressed air systems and refrigeration systems, dryers, motor controllers, adjustable speed drives and pumps. They ask that customers coordinate possible energy savings measures with a PUD representative by calling 360-748-9261 x 430.

Mason PUD #3 (www.masonpud3.org) offers rebates for commercial high efficiency lighting and incentives of up to 70 percent of actual cost for site-specific new construction or retrofit energy efficiency projects. Note that all projects must be submitted and approved prior to purchasing or installing any equipment.

Okanogan PUD (www.okanoganpud.org) offers incentives for high-efficiency lighting to its commercial and industrial customers. Call the PUD’s Energy Conservation Office at 509-422-8427 for more information.

Puget Sound Energy (Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, King, Pierce, Skagit, Thurston, Whatcom and Kittitas Counties) (www.pse.com). For its industrial customers, Puget Sound Energy offers rebates for high-efficiency lighting and lighting controls, LED signage, HVAC systems, vending machines, commercial clothes washers, variable-speed drives, NEMA premium-efficiency motors, reach-in refrigerators and freezers, and kitchen equipment. Snohomish County PUD (Snohomish County, King County)(www.snopud.com)  offers industrial customers rebates of up to 70 percent of project cost for energy-efficient lighting controls and fixtures, HVAC, compressed air, heat recovery and refrigeration systems, motors, pumps and fans, and variable frequency drives. The PUD also offers significant rebates for energy-efficient new construction projects, as well as business energy audits through its online Business Energy Advisor program.
