The NW Industrial Energy Efficiency Summit is the region's premier gathering of industries and energy interests working to advance northwest industrial competitiveness through energy efficiency.

The focus of the fifth annual Summit is industry sharing knowledge with industry.  Educational sessions are focused on practical applications of energy efficient technologies in both electricity and natural gas.  Register today to hear real-life energy savings success stories and challenges presented by energy experts and industry peers.  Network with companies that are implementing energy efficiency programs/projects to share and learn from their experiences.

Programming will start at 8:00 am at the Oregon Convention Center.  Meeting materials, a light breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee.  There will be a regional industrial energy leader’s awards poster session beginning at 4:00 and the program will conclude with a hosted networking reception from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. 

Sessions will provide practical applications of energy efficient technologies in both electricity and natural gas including:

• Great Industrial Energy Efficiency Projects featuring low-cost, quick applications that can bring in the savings and how to overcome common barriers to project implementation.

• Combined Heat and Power & Waste-Heat Recovery Landscape discusses opportunities at industrial sites as well as insights and lessons learned from one company that has constructed and operated its own facility.

• Strategic Energy Management Reaches Maturity showcases two companies who will share their experiences implementing SEM in a changing economy.

• Energy Management Certification through ISO50001 will reveal how to navigate through the process, costs and work-load required becoming ISO registered. Hear why one company decided to become an early adopter and gained registration for their first plant this summer with larger plans for the rest of the company.

Attendees represent all industrial sectors and include energy champions, engineers, plant managers and superintendents, operations directors/managers, sustainability directors/managers, and anyone responsible for energy use as well as energy program providers, utilities, government agencies, industry associations, energy services and products providers, and academia.
