The Oregon and Washington FOODPACs are organizations that are independent of NWFPA and act autonomously on political action. Each PAC is self-funded and organized to work on initiatives and candidate campaigns in the electoral process. NWFPA volunteers staff and clerical support to each PAC, but has no authority over funds or activities. Both PACs are IRS code "527" organizations.
